Originally from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Francelia Lara has dedicated her career to education and empowerment. As a Bilingual Early Childhood Specialist in Madison, she has trained more than 300 childcare providers across Wisconsin, elevating the quality of care for children and families statewide.
With a BA in Early Education from Normal Superior de Ciudad Madero, Francelia brings deep expertise and even deeper empathy to her work. She believes that teaching is an act of love — una forma de sanar y compartir sabiduría.
Her story is one of service, commitment, and community transformation. Through her workshops and mentorship, she helps women build confidence and capacity as educators and caregivers, ensuring that every child’s early experiences are filled with care, culture, and connection.
