Cyber Cafecito: Latina Leaders from Wisconsin
Cyber Cafecito: National Hispanic Heritage Month
¡De Milwaukee a Tejas, nuestras historias nos conectan! 💛
Grab your lunch and spend an hour with Midwest Mujeres, a local Latina nonprofit, celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month! Women from Milwaukee, Janesville, South Madison, y Tejas are coming together on Zoom for conversation, connection, and a preview of our Voices & Dreams Academy storytellers. We know that you will love hearing what these Latina Leaders are saying about how they are closing the gender wage gap and why they challenged themselves with professional development like public speaking.
✨ Meet our special guests and Latina Leaders:
Gabriela Parra, immigration attorney, business owner, and daughter of Mexican immigrants, will share her vision for an American Dream that honors nuestra identidad, our culture, and the opportunities we create for others as we rise.
Shelene Zarate, a singer, dancer, actress, and bilingual radio host from Mexico City, brings her love of music, storytelling, and community to the conversation.
Expect tips for bilingual storytellers, stories that spark possibility, and time to connect. Bring your lunch, your questions, y tus ganas de compartir!
