Empowering Women Through Community

The Vision for Our Community Resource Page

For many years, as a founder, I received messages asking an important question:

“Where can I donate to support immigrants and marginalized families in our community?”

My go-to answers are often Centro’s Legal Defense Fund and Voces de la Frontera, trusted organizations doing essential work for immigrant rights.

As these requests grew, I partnered with our website designer, Iris Designs, to create this simple, accessible resource page.

This list is not meant to be comprehensive, but it offers a helpful snapshot of the local social-service landscape, highlighting organizations that support immigrants, women of color, LGBTQ+ communities, low-income families, and other historically marginalized groups.

This page reflects years of community conversations, volunteer labor, and a commitment to connecting people with meaningful ways to give and get involved. Because it is volunteer-powered, the information may not always be fully up to date.

If you notice missing information or corrections that should be made, please email us at info@midwestmujeres.com so we can continue refining this resource for the community.

**Type in the search box for your keyword, and a list of resources or nonprofit organizations will appear for you to connect with. You can also scroll left to right and go through the categories.** Each organization has a website for you to research and donate to! United Way of Dane County is also a good organization to donate to. They provide funding to many local nonprofit organizations.

Con Carino,

Araceli + Iris Designs
